The MR73 is no longer made by Manurhin in Mulhouse but since many years manufactured by Chapuis Armes. I have a Mulhouse 5 1/2" and had a commercial Chapuis Armes 4" revolver, there was no noticeable difference in quality and accuracy between them. Aside from the mechanical accuracy the Chapuis Armes shot as accurate as an old S&W 15 in a side.

Most famously, and mention nearly anytime the MR73 is, is the revolver's role in the 1994 rescue of hijacked Air France flight 8969.
